SnapBox Review and Give Away

I was asked to do a review for SnapBox.  I had never heard of the company, and decided to check them out before I committed.  Once I visited the site, I agreed to the review and so glad that I did.  If you’re looking for a unique gift, you should check them out too.  They specialize in canvass prints.  The process is simple, you email your photo to the email address provided.  You will receive a return email with instructions, choose the size of your print, provide a mailing address and they deliver your print within 5 days.  It’s as simple as that.

You can choose from 5×5, 5×7, 8×10, 9×9 and 10×13.  Prices range from $13.00 to 37.00, and worth it.  The finished product is on a canvass like material that comes ready to hang.  I decided to order a print of one of my favorite sunsets for my office.  I was thrilled with the end result.    It arrived as promised and packaged wellYou just need to find a spot to hang it!

SnapBox allows you to email photos from your smartphone, Instagram or your home computer.  How technically savvy is that?  When I emailed my photo, the return email was almost instant.  You’re not waiting around or checking your emails all day or night to complete your order.  They’ve taken into consideration that we have other things to do.  The craftsmanship is of quality.  As you can see, the frame is nice and thick and the print flawless.

I’ll be ordering from this site again.  I’ve decided to give each of my girlfriends a photo for their birthdays this year from SnapBox.  A photo of us at a birthday celebration, a baby shower or a trip that we’ve taken together.  Something that will bring back memories from years ago.  The possibilities are endless, and will make a great gift.

SnapBox wants you to experience the beauty of their products too.  They will allow one lucky reader to purchase up to $75.00 in free prints on their site.  Here’s how you can win:

Visit SnapBox and than come back and leave a comment on what photo you would use and who you would give the print to.  If it’s for you, that’s okay too.  (Mandatory)

A Flower in the Snow Book Give Away

I love reading, and I’ve tried to instill reading into my daughter’s and grandchildren’s life.  Reading aloud to children helps with vocabulary, literacy and gets them to use their imagination as they’re listening to the story and looking at the pictures.  Thirty four years later, my daughter is still an avid reader and my 5 year old grandson still loves MaMa to read bedtime stories.  We love reading on cold and snowy days too.

When asked to review the children’s book, A Flower in the Snow, by Sourcebooks, I was thrilled.  In essence, the book is about friendship. Luna and her polar bear friend, Bear, discover a beautiful gold flower growing in the snow.  But when the flower fades, Bear goes on a search around the world for another to bring to Luna.  It’s only when he returns home that the true strength of their friendship is revealed.

The book is hardback and beautifully illustrated with vivid colors.  It is appropriate for ages 4 – 8 and has 32 pages.  The story teaches children that friendship is more important than things.  It also teaches children that it’s okay to miss someone and feel sad when they’re away.  To check out this book and others visit, A Flower in the Snow on the Sourcebooks site.  The book is available for $16.99.

Mother 2 Mother is giving away a copy of A Flower in the Snow.  Here’s how you can win.  Leave us a comment on this post telling us who you will giving this adorable book to.

    Personalized Placemat Give Away

Is this party table fabulous or what? It’s set with placemats from a boutique named Lilybella. Lilybella is listed on my Top 100 Urbane Baby Boutique Sites and this table shows why.

I fell in love with the Choo Choo placemats at Lilybella and we’re sure our Bloggy Give Away visitors will too. My grandson was turning 1 and had just started eating finger foods. I thought how perfect to use when he’s visiting. He loves for Gran to put his finger foods on her coffee table. He likes to walk around and pick up a piece when he wants it. We chose the Choo Choo placemat, personalized with my grandson’s name, and we love it. It’s a quality product and easy to clean. I just tuck it in a drawer with my other placemats when he’s finished. This placemat is fabulicious! It gets 3 snaps, a booty shake and goes in Grandma’s bag for sure!

Lilybella has a variety of placemats and other gifts that are perfect for a birthday, baby shower or Christmas gift. The placemats just happen to be my favorite. Lilybella has the Pretty Princess Line, Perfect Kitty, Dino Tracks, and Fluttering Flower. They also have drink ware that would perfect with the placemats. I will be ordering the personalized Pretty Princess placemat for one of my niece’s Christmas gift. She’s 2.

Lilybella has offered a personalized placemat to one of our readers. Don’t you love it! You could be a winner, here’s how: Visit Lilybella and let us know which placemat you gave a booty shake. You could win it. We will select a winner from our posts, and Lilybella will send your favorite placemat directly to you.

Give Away ends November 25, 2008 and is open to US Residents 18+ only. Winner will have 3 days to respond to notification or they will be disqualified. Cozy Cuddlez Give Away

Take a look at what we found at Cozy Cuddlez I received the frog Wipe Case this week, it’s adorable. The case is covered in a soft flannel and it’s sturdy. I love the little frog embellishment on the case too. Another great feature is the soft colors, they are so soothing. You must put something in my grandson’s hands if you want to be successful changing his diaper, this case is perfect. He loves the frogs and the softness of the fabric. The enclosed wipes are soft and moist. They’re great for wiping his mouth and hands after meals. Normally he takes off or turns his head so I can’t wipe his face, but when I pull out Mr. Frog he concedes. I’m giving this case Three Snaps. It’s earned its place in my Grandma bag.

Valery Vargo is the designer of these adorable cases. She is the mother of 4 wonderful children, and she has taken on the responsibility of 3 additional children as a result of her current relationship. Valery choose to become a SAHM to her 7 children. To supplement her family’s income, she created Cozy Cuddlez. She designs these cases in a variety of colors and fabrics.

Valery is quite creative, she’s come up with another use for the cases in addition to using it for wipes. She’s created a case that comes with a pack of 8 crayons, 4 pencils, glue stick, eraser and scissors. Valery said the case comes with “All the basics that kids need. It is thin enough to fit in a backpack and is hard plastic to make sure that nothing gets crushed. I have 6 kids in my house that are in school and I have made them all one for this up coming year and they love them”. Use your imagination with the cases, they make great gifts.

Take a look at Valery’s designs at http://www.cozycuddlez.com/ Leave a comment here on the case that you like and subscribe to our blog on the left. We will enter you into our Cozy Cuddlez Give Away. Be sure to let us know your preference of wipes or school supplies, and leave an email address so we may contact you. Contest is open to US Citizens only and ends midnight August 31, 2008. Winner will receive the case that they’ve commented on. One entry per person please. Case will be mailed directly from Cozy Cuddlez to the winner. Good Luck!
