SnapBox Review and Give Away

I was asked to do a review for SnapBox.  I had never heard of the company, and decided to check them out before I committed.  Once I visited the site, I agreed to the review and so glad that I did.  If you’re looking for a unique gift, you should check them out too.  They specialize in canvass prints.  The process is simple, you email your photo to the email address provided.  You will receive a return email with instructions, choose the size of your print, provide a mailing address and they deliver your print within 5 days.  It’s as simple as that.

You can choose from 5×5, 5×7, 8×10, 9×9 and 10×13.  Prices range from $13.00 to 37.00, and worth it.  The finished product is on a canvass like material that comes ready to hang.  I decided to order a print of one of my favorite sunsets for my office.  I was thrilled with the end result.    It arrived as promised and packaged wellYou just need to find a spot to hang it!

SnapBox allows you to email photos from your smartphone, Instagram or your home computer.  How technically savvy is that?  When I emailed my photo, the return email was almost instant.  You’re not waiting around or checking your emails all day or night to complete your order.  They’ve taken into consideration that we have other things to do.  The craftsmanship is of quality.  As you can see, the frame is nice and thick and the print flawless.

I’ll be ordering from this site again.  I’ve decided to give each of my girlfriends a photo for their birthdays this year from SnapBox.  A photo of us at a birthday celebration, a baby shower or a trip that we’ve taken together.  Something that will bring back memories from years ago.  The possibilities are endless, and will make a great gift.

SnapBox wants you to experience the beauty of their products too.  They will allow one lucky reader to purchase up to $75.00 in free prints on their site.  Here’s how you can win:

Visit SnapBox and than come back and leave a comment on what photo you would use and who you would give the print to.  If it’s for you, that’s okay too.  (Mandatory)

Would You Purchase This Kitchen Set For Your Son?

Would you purchase a kitchen set for your son?  My now 4 year old grandson has been asking for a kitchen set for months.  We just celebrated his birthday and purchased this adorable kitchen set for him.  He loves it, but his other set of grandparents believe kitchen sets are for girls.  The picture clearly shows a little boy on the box playing with the set, so it obviously isn’t just for little girls.

Please tell me why people still think this way.  Some of the best chefs in the world are men.  My grandson loves to cook.  As you can see, he’s been at it since he was 2 years old.  He’s making a spinach dip for his mommy in the picture below, who loved his creation.

This is Xavier whipping up brownies with grandma several months ago.  He had a great time making them and a better time eating them.  My father was a better cook than my mother when I was growing up.  Have you heard of Bobby Flay and Emeril?  Do you watch the food channel?  Ninety percent of the challengers on Iron Chef are men.  The Cake Boss is a man.  I’m just saying, lol.

It’s so sad that we have people in the world who still think this way.  What frightens me is what they’re teaching him when he spends time with them.  My daughter spoke up, and make it clear that she will not have her son taught 50’s views and values.  Whether he wants to be a chef or fly jets will be up to him.  If he turns out to be gay, so be it.  He will be loved just the sameI was so proud of her.   It’s this kind of narrow minded thinking that generates prejudice in the world.

We purchased this set at Toy R Us and it is the bomb.  It is made by Lifestyle Legacy.  A little pricey, but well worth the price.  The colors are fun and features a sink, swivel faucet, 2 burners with clicking knobs and a cutting board.  It even has a cell phone for take out orders or chatting with grandma while fixing dinner, lol.  It also includes an oven, microwave, refrigerator with water dispenser, coffee pot, storage bins, dishes, shakers, pots and pan and the list goes on.  It has everything a little chef needs to cook a great meal including a pot holder, and it will provide opportunity for him to use his imagination.  Isn’t that an important part of development for a child regardless of whether they are boy or girl?  We even received a free 85-piece food set with the purchase.  It was the perfect gift for him.

We see this set providing hours of entertainment for his little friends who are visiting with mommy and daddy, and we’re sure Zarriah will love using it when she gets older too.  It’s a breeze to clean, and assembled quickly.  Don’t forget the batteries.  The clicking of the burners is a big part of the cooking process.   If you’re in the market, you should add this kitchen set to your list of toys to check out.  You little one would be thrilled if Santa puts one of these babies on his sled.  I highly recommend it.

    M&M Dolls

Have you seen the M and M dolls from Ashton-Drake? I saw these adorable little dolls, 6 inches long, on the Ashton Drake site and thought I would share my find. These are great for M & M collectors. I’m not a collector, but I love the peanut M & Ms. These adorable dolls will be shipped in issues. Each wears a cap with a different saying. The first issue, green, says, “I Melt For No One”, the second issue is red. The cap reads, “Sweet On The Inside”, next is the blue “Never Let Them See You Melt”, and the last is the yellow, “There’s A Little Nut”. Each sells for $29.99. You will receive free express shipping on the first issue. Be sure to check them out, and put this great gift idea on your list for the M and M lover.
