Today, I’m sharing empowerment tips for women using rainbow quotes so you can find the sunshine after your storm. Somewhere Over the Rainbow Skies Are Blue. Judy Garland singing that song touched my soul long ago. Patti Labelle took my love for rainbows to a new level when she did a remake of the song. That song taught me to look up and search for a rainbow after a storm. I’ve had found many along my journey. And, each time that I found one I was able to find beauty, focus, and a peace where I stood.

Many of us don’t want to deal with the storms in our life. Storms bring rain, thunder, lighting, flooding, and mud. Many can be violent and cause disasters. Even so, it’s a good time to be thankful for your blessings, to reflect on your life, become a better person, become more helpful, and the list goes on.

We don’t think about what God uses to create a rainbow. If life was all sunshine, we would never grow in our walk. There would be nothing to stretch us and position us to endure life’s hurts and pains.

We all go through disappoints and painful events in our life. Remember that a kind word, a phone call or just being there in silence for someone can make a big difference in their life.

Having your parade rained on doesn’t have to have a tragic ending. Look up and search for the rainbow.

Take control of you. Stop waddling around in a shade of blue. There’s other colors that will life your spirits and make happy or at least feel better about whatever is happening in your life. Blue is my favorite color, but I also love yellow. It makes me happy, red makes me feel powerful and purple relaxes me. Figure out what colors transform your moods and try them on when you’re feeling blue.

This is truly one of my favorite quotes. One size doesn’t fit all, so if you’re empowered by a variety of colors and things I say more power to you.

I love that the world is not black and white. Life gives us every color in the rainbow, and that’s how I strive to see it.

This is another one of my favorite rainbow quotes. Getting distracted or losing our way is not uncommon. Furthermore, we can become narrow minded. Take the time to stop and smell the roses on your journey and enjoy the colors of the rainbow. Life is short, and we only get to live it once.

Today, I’m sharing empowerment tips on toxic people quotes. Relationships and friends can be toxic at times, and we must determine when to remove ourselves from the relationship. Some relationships evolve over time, and some relationships take a wrong turn and become toxic.

It’s natural for people to change in some area of their life over time. But, when they become negative, hurtful, unsupportive and just outright unhealthy, it’s time to go. Get inspired, motivated and energized from my toxic people quotes; they’re liberating.

First, I love this quote. It’s funny and inspirational. I know when I have removed myself from toxin people, it left me feeling like the world had been lifted off my shoulders. It was truly freeing!

So, we all go through difficult things in our life. However, some people are lost. Sadly, they are full of pain, regret, their mind is in a fog and they hurt anyone who comes into their path. I’m going to keep it simple, get out of their way and stay out of their way.

Next, you are in control of what and who you allow in your head. Control what you consume. If it’s not healthy, don’t allow it in. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the best relationship with my mother until later in my life. She would literally exhaust me to a point where I had to stay away from her. That’s how I handled my relationship with her for years. When she started spewing unhealthy words, thoughts and deeds, I ran for cover. Learn when to remove yourself from toxic people and situations. If you’re gut is talking to you, listen.

Next, choose people who will inspire and motivate you. Life is short, choose people who are inspirational. Having people who care about who you are and your well being is imperative. Becoming exhausted by toxic people is simply not healthy.

There is a saying that people come into your life for a reason or a season. As a result, they are there so that we can learn something. Or, they could be in life as a forever friend, lover, husband etc. If someone decides to leave, let them go. Assess your lesson and move on.

Sadly, I’ve had to end friendships that I thought would last forever. There came a point in my life where I had to step back and take a look at what was happening. Did they really say what I thought? I painfully concluded that I was not imagining things. I ended the friendship. At this stage of my life, I have little time for one-sided friendships or relationships.
