Thanksgiving Activities for Kids

Today, we’re sharing kids printables on Thanksgiving Activities for kids.  Adults will be spending the day watching football.  Furthermore, they will consume huge amounts of turkey, potatoes, stuffing and beverages.  But, what about the little kids?  Why not give them a few Thanksgiving activities to keep them occupied.

Start gathering Thanksgiving activities for kids early.  The Macy’s Day parade will be on starting at 9:00am EST; however, children do become restless.

Kindergarten Thanksgiving Activities

Coloring is always a great choice for Preschool and Kindergarten aged children.  I try not to miss an opportunity for learning.  The  pack includes coloring pages, math, and matching.  A bonus word search activity is included for older childrenAssign a teen or another adult to help the children while you’re cooking.

Our Thanksgiving Kindergarten Activities include an addition and subtraction math sheet.  Encourage your preschooler and kindergartener to count.  By kindergarten, they should be familiar with numbers up to 20. Additionally,  you can help them color a turkey, pie and a few drumsticks.

Add other activities to the list including making a Toilet Paper Roll Turkey.  This activity allows children to color, glue, and to be imaginative.  Its a great way to enhance your child’s motor skills.  Furthermore, we have a frame that the kids can make.  Take pictures throughout the day.  Print and give each child a picture for their Fall Leaf Frame.
