I also like that it’s something that we all have around the house, under the seats of the couch, in out pocketbooks, also in our penny piggy bank. It’s a pretty DIY project and the kids will love it too. Why not make those “useless” pennies useful for artwork.”
blogu22
Jillian chose Top 10 Things I Learned at BlogU from The Coconut Head’s Cancer Survival Guide. “The reason I chose this post was because it gives some great ideas on getting focused with your blog and what steps you can take to get even further ahead, but the tips aren’t blog-centric, they can AND will benefit anyone.”

I really liked that Chelsey included screenshots in her step by step process for making the business cards. I also thought it was great that she used a free and economical program like PicMonkey. unplug
Cindy chose Recharge Your Life: Unplug from Anni’s Bubble. “We are working hard to be unplugged in the evenings around here. My laptop no longer is a fixture on my lap in the living room while watching TV with the family. Unless I am home alone my laptop goes off at 5pm daily and I seldom check my phone, unless I get a text (since my youngest son is a missionary traveling the US, I always check my texts and phone calls). My unplugged evenings allow me to be in the moment with my family and I find I am more refreshed in the morning!”

PicMonkey-Collageppp

Natasha chose How do you curb your enthusiasm? from The Brown Girl with Long Hair. “Anyone who knows me knows that I cannot curb my enthusiasm. If something is even remotely amusing, I will fall out of my chair laughing almost immediately. Plus, I’ve been told that my laugh is highly contagious, so it just makes it even worse to hurt the person’s feelings. After I laugh for about 15 minutes and finally catch my breath, I do ask for forgiveness though. If I was in this situation, I would literally pass out laughing. This is too funny! Laundry Main_R
Debbie chose Five things I would rather do than fold laundry from The Brown Girl with Long Hair. “I love this post because I can relate completely. It seems laundry is never ending and I want to run away and do anything but look at it or think about it.”
frosttitle
Angie chose Homestead Tips on Tuesday: Heed the Frost Date from The (mis)Adventures of a “Born Again” Farm Girl. “I have had to learn the hard way by not heeding the Frost Date & losing tender seedlings. If you are a gardener this date is essential for successful crops.”
Hubby's Draft Day_R
Cindy chose The Day My Husband Was Drafted into the NFL from The Brown Girl with Long Hair. “I am a football fan and we have watched the draft for years. I found it interesting to read the story from someone who has been there. I can’t imagine the emotions and stress of having your career path being defined in such a way.”
jewelry-storage-4-682x1024
Carolyn chose Jewelry Storage and Organization from Woods of Bell Trees. “I thought it was a really creative, lovely way to store your jewelry.”
cherry lemonade jello
Ranjani chose Cherry Lemonade Jello Popsicles from Organzier by Day. “I found this simple yet refreshing. It is definitely on my to-do list for this summer now.Cant wait to have a summer party with these cute lil popsicles.”
DIYWoodPhotographyBackground
Jillian chose DIY Wood Photography Background from Sew Crafty Cat. “I chose this post because it is a brilliant idea for those of us who get involved in any sort of crafts that need pictures. Plus, it’s not something I’ve seen done before.”
Karen also chose DIY Wood Photography Background from Satisfaction through Christ. “I love this project, it’s so simple yet so effective as a background. I am in need of something like this, so it’s given me food for thought.”
7265052
April chose Self-fulfilling Prophecy from Blossom Family. “Being a parent, can often drive you crazy. Once the child starts behaving in a certain way, you start to attribute that trait to them (i.e., he often doesn’t listen, therefore he’s a “bad listener”). But you know what, Marwa tells us about how we can change how we see it and how it can change them too.”
IMG_5263
Stacey chose Fruit Pudding Salad from Mommy on Demand. “This looks absolutely delicious! I am always looking for cool treats to combat the hot summer months. I will definitely be adding this to my recipe list! Thanks for sharing!”
littlemoments
Rachel chose The Little Moments – Transforming Ordinary Moments Into Unforgettable Memories from Satisfaction through Christ. “I love her perspective and how she takes a chore and changes it into a cherished moment. I enjoyed reading her story because it reminded me how much I treasure those little moments with my son.”
DIY map art STC
Katie chose DIY Map Art from Satisfaction through Christ. “I love the colors she used for the map and frame, and the stenciled burlap makes a great background! I also LOVE maps, and have yet to decorate with them (but that just might change soon, as Abby has my DIY mind going now). I think it would also be fun to paint your home state in an accent color, too! Great project!”
My-Childs-Education-is-not-your-fall-back-degree
Rhonda chose My Child’s Education Is Not Your Fall Back Degree from British Mum USA. “A mother discusses her displeasure of our educational system, and the fact that is seen by many as a fall back career if they’re unsuccessful in their chosen occupation.”
