Witch Fingers

Pretzel Rods, candy melts, almonds, and black gel food coloring are the stars for these Witch’s Fingers. The kids will love munching on these goodies.

Bloody Fingers

There’s no recipe for the bloodied fingers. Just remove a square of skin from the hot dog and place on a bed of bloodied hot dog bun. My grandson and his friends are going to love these.

Spider Pizza

This blogger used a Tombstone Pizza, black and green olives and pepperoni to create this master piece. Hello, my grandchildren love the Totino’s Party Pizza. So, this is the perfect treat in my household. Also, if your children don’t like olives just make the pepperoni’s the star.

Spider Burger

I love that this recipe is simple, and so cute. A normal burger, a slice of cheese, raisins, and onion rings. Perfect for lunch or dinner.

Halloween Potato Skin Pizzas

Next, kids love pizza. Here’s a twist on potatoes, turn them into pizza. Yes, baking potatoes, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese and olives is all you need along with a little creativity. The kids will love them.

Bloodshot Eyeball Cupcakes

Disgustingly delicious. Furthermore, these Bloodshot Eyeball cupcakes are sure to bring Ewwwwk. But, they are sure to be devoured too.

Jack-O-Lantern Mac and Cheese Cups

Homemade Mac and Cheese will work great for this recipe. If you’re in a pinch for time, microwavable mac and cheese can be used. My grandchildren love homemade mac and cheese. They would eat it everyday if allowed. A slice of cucumber or celery will work for the stem. Make this a family activity, let the kids decorate the cups with a Jack-O-Lantern face.

Honeydew Bats

Last, a honeydew melon and a bat cookie cutter is all that is needed to make these delicious and nutritious treats.

Kid’s Birthday Ideas For An Extra Special Year

Most parents know how great birthdays for kids can be for little children. Many parents go out of their way to make birthdays as special as possible. After all, you do want your kids to enjoy themselves on their special day. Extra special birthdays could be their 10th, 13th or 16th birthdays. Today, I’m sharing parenting tips on kid’s birthday ideas for special birthdays.

The Right Presents

It is important to teach your children while young that receiving presents is not the most important thing. Still, on their birthday you do want to treat them to something special. So, it is worth putting some effort into getting there gift right. If you are lucky, you will know exactly what they want. If that’s the case, you can be sure there will be laughter and joy rather than tears. It helps to shop around early, and perhaps ask for some help from a family member or one of their friends. You should also think about the card. Getting the right birthday card is surprisingly important as well. You could even use an online card maker to create one yourself. This will have the positive bonus of being personal and genuine compared to a normal card.

The Perfect Party

If you are throwing a party for your child, early planning is probably a good idea. The earlier you get started, the more likely it is that you will throw the ideal bash. There is plenty to bear in mind when you are throwing a birthday party for a child. First, you will need to prepare plenty of food. Keep in mind that you will be feeding both children and adults. Therefore that is important to remember if you want to keep everyone happy. You also need to make sure that the decorations are appropriate and that you have enough. Free enough time for other concerns as the party date approaches. Throwing the right party will ensure that your children will really enjoy their day.

Ticoze Patio Lights G40 Globe Patio/Party Light Review #patiolights

I’ve been looking for outdoor lighting for some time. I was given an opportunity to review the Escolite Patio Lights G40 Globe Party for an honest review, I accepted the opportunity. I’m like a kid at Christmas when I’m expecting a box. It finally box arrived, and I couldn’t wait to tear it apart. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the globes on the lights. It could just the lighting, but the lights give a soft white glow versus the yellow shown in the picture above. The picture below is taken in my breakfast area. The lights are still in the box, but it gives an excellent display against the black background. I think this gives a true picture of how they will look outdoors at night.

I couldn’t wait to hang the lights on my deck railing so I could get an idea of what they would look like when I was entertaining. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough clips that I had planned to use to hold the lights onto the railing. However, we were able to stretch the strand along the railing. Each strand of light is about 25 feet long. The strand wasn’t long enough to hang along the entire length and width of my deck, so I will have to purchase another set.

The lights do offer a different look and feel from the lights that are normally used during the Christmas holidays. The bulbs are 5 watts each. There’s a total of 25 lights per strand, so you will have a total of 125-watts. You can connect up to 3 strands of lights. They don’t generate much heat, but they do change the mood of the area. They create an ambiance that brings you into the environment and you want to stay. I can see myself sipping a glass of wine with friends on the deck while enjoying the glow of the lights.

I would also use the lights for Christmas parties, around trees, for wedding, on the mantel and more. They will change the mood in any room or outdoor space, and you will want to enjoy the glow for hours. I highly recommend these lights. I will be purchasing two more strands for an upcoming party. I spotted a gift bag while shopping for wrapping paper one day, and decided to give one a try. I have never looked back and from the looks of this gift table others think the same way.
