Happy New Year 2016

New Year, Happy New Year, New Year's Day

Happy New Year.  Can you believe we have entered another year.  Personally, I welcome 2016. It’s not that 2015 was a bad year, but I’m expecting 2016 to be awesome both personally and on the blog.

I will be adding more posts on family, crafts, kitchen gardening and traveling. I will also be adding an exclusive 2016 fillable calendar for new email blog subscribers.

I’ll be striving to get healthier in the New Year and planning several vacation trips. If everything goes as planned, I will be spending the 2016 Christmas holidays at Disney with the grandchildren.  Stay tuned, I’ll be doing lots of planning and researching for deals and thrills.

I plan to be more active in my kitchen garden.  I’ll be making jams, sauce, pickling peppers, drying peppers and herbs, and preparing fresh corn, green beans, and zucchini for the freezer.  There will also be sessions on canning fruit for pies and cobblers.

I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.  May it be filled with love, laughter and blessings.

Happy New Year

Hard to believe another year has come and gone.  When I look back over the year, I can truly say it was a good year for me.  Through the rough times, I remained employed.  I’ve had a roof over my head, plenty of food, watched both of my babies celebrate their birthdays, gained new followers on Mother 2 Mother, and most importantly I strengthened my faith.

I’m not one to make New Year Resolutions, but I will continue to strive for the best me.  I’m always a work in progress.  I look forward to the New Year and all it has to offer.  I want to thank each of you for helping to make my blog a success by remaining a loyal follower.  I will continue to post content in 2013 and hope that you will continue to follow me on my journey.

I wish each of you a Happy New Year.  May each of you be blessed.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year from my family to yours. Well, it’s hard to believe that 2008 is over. I’m looking foward to 2009, but I’ve been reflecting on 2008 today. All in all, it was a great year for me. I hope that 2009 is just as good. In 2008, I was able to spend time with my family and strenghten my love for them, make strides with my blog and business, keep my job of 30 years, travel, and meet new people. I lost a friend, but I made a new friend too. I believe I’m better off with the new friend, so maybe it really isn’t a lost but a tradeoff, lol.

I’m not into New Years Resolutions, but I do have a few goals for 2009:

  • Attend church more often
  • Give my on-line boutique more attention
  • Continue with my blog give aways/reviews
  • Work to increase traffic to my sites
  • Exercise more (Buying a treadmill)
  • Complete a few home projects that I’ve been wanting to do for years
  • Increase my savings account
  • Purchase new computer
  • Purchase new camera
  • Read more. (I love true stories by Ann Rule and Kathryn Casey)
  • Take a nice vacation or cruise
  • Keep my readers informed of my journey on all of the above

What’s your goals for the New Year? Leave a comment and let us know what you’re striving for in 2009.
