Bling Word Hair Pins Review

I was given the opportunity to purchase these  12 Piece Words Hair Pins, at a discount in exchange for a review.  Since my granddaughter is a diva and loves to wear hair bows and headbands with her outfits, I purchased these bling word hair pins.

Now, lets get to the review. I ordered the word hair pins and they arrived quickly.  I love Amazon Prime.  So, these hair  pins are the rage and they are adorable.  Celebrities and fashionistas alike are wearing them.  They are blingy, fun, stylish and make a fashion statement.  If you have a little diva, they are a must.  They would make a great birthday, Christmas  or just because gift.

The hair pins are individually wrapped inside a larger package.  I like this idea, they won’t rub against each other.  Reuse the  individual packages to house the hair pins after you take them out.  This will help keep the rhinestones in tact.  I will be giving these hair pins to my 8 year old granddaughter.  Teaching her to put the hair pins in back in the package may take more than a little patience though.  Just saying.

If you want bling, the rhinestone words will do just that.  The base of the pins are gold, which actually looks nice against the stones.

 

Next, the package contained 12 hair pins.  They were fun words like, dream, sweet, girls hope, queen, star and happy to name a few.  They’re a great way to help raise the self-esteem of any little girl too.  When you feel pretty, you feel good.  If you have more than 1 daughter, split the package or they can share.

Next, I tried one of the hair pins while my granddaughter looked on and snapped the picture.  The hair pins operate just like a bobby pin.  Honestly, I found some of them a little difficult to open and get into my hair.  However, with practice it may get easier.  I think my granddaughter will need a little help from her mommy to get them into her hair in the mornings.

But, you can wear the hair pins individually or together.  You can make combinations like Girls Hope or Sweet Dream.  Encourage your daughter or even you can get creative with the word hair pins.

Search the closet

First, start going through your closet! Yes, you’re probably thinking you’ve already done this plenty of times. But, you’d be surprised at the amount of old gems you’ve forgotten about that just need some accessorizing.

We can all be guilty of accumulating clothes, leaving them in the closet and forgetting about them. By having a good old look through the closet again, but with a new attitude, you’re bound to find something.  Perhaps you have a dress that only needs a scarf or sequined jacket to give it a completely different look. Think about the accessories that you could use to change the look, a necklace or a belt?  Also, what type of shoes can you use – sandals or sneakers?

With a clear picture of what you have in your wardrobe, it will be easier for you to buy specific accessories and save yourself from the dangers of  impulse shopping.

Don’t be trend specific, buy classic

Fashion trends are changing swiftly and one season’s hit is the next season’s flop.  So, you can revamp your entire wardrobe one year only to face a heap of outdated clothes the next.

Shop smartly and stay away from choosing shirts, sweaters and jackets that all have the latest cuts and embellishments.  Instead, balance things out by opting for something classic like a plain LBD (Little Black Dress) that never goes out of fashion.

Perhaps you already have one in your closet. Why not consider adding fur at the hem or metallic trimmings? Or you could invest in a trendy sequined jacket to go with your classic LBD.  If you have a good old pair of jeans or a skirt lying around, why not buy a flared top to go with them and refresh the look.

Invest in a quality wardrobe

You can’t overhaul your entire wardrobe every year in a bid to be trendy. Therefore, before heading out make a list of the clothing items you have to buy. If you’re in need of a decent jacket or new shoes, concentrate on those rather than buying randomly. Be sure to buy mindfully and try to opt for quality products within budget.

Think of your shopping list in terms of trade-offs.  Skip one or two must-haves for one quality item that will last for years. A good pair of jeans, for example, won’t wear out and are always trendy. Another example is cashmere. Yes, it’s pricey, but it can definitely be worth it.  Its longevity, warmth, and comfort make up for the high price.  Plus you can wear it in a variety of ways.  Be sure to choose the cuts and colors that don’t go out of fashion.

Some items are in fashion all year, meaning you can just layer them for winter. You can incorporate your old shirts or sweaters in the layers and stay warm and stylish. You can also wear your summer clothes in between the layers like a tank top paired with a blazer for that winter chic look.This means you don’t have to go on an expensive winter clothes haul!

Mix and match your staple pieces

Visit a tailor

The key difference between a branded, expensive dress and its cheap alternative is the fitting and stitching. Inexpensive dresses are usually ill-fitted but this can be fixed.  Therefore on our trendy fashion tips list is to try taking your dress to a tailor for an exclusive fitting. Some extra pennies on the fitting will instantly change the whole look of your dress.

Sell or trade extra items

If you’ve overspent on items that you don’t need or have found some unwanted yet valuable clothes lying around your closet, why not make extra money from them?  You can easily sell them in resale shops or garage sales. You can also auction them on eBay or through local Facebook groups.  Earning extra money out of insignificant stuff at home never hurts. In fact, there are many other creative and smart ideas for earning some extra money too.

So, it’s not impossible to look stylish and trendy on a budget.  All you need is a few trendy fashion tips and to shop smart. You can turn your basic tee into a chic dress by pairing it with the right skirt and accessorizing it properly. Invest your money in basic, staple classics instead of impulsively buying all the shines on the branded racks. Then, pair what you have with one or two trendy items of the season. As you already know, the early days of autumn are pretty unpredictable when it comes to weather forecast.  It’s impossible to always know how to dress.  As a result,  you should have a collection of transitional pieces from summer to fall that you can easily layer.  If it gets too hot you can remove an item or if it gets too cold you can add an item.  Today, I’m sharing six transitional pieces from summer to fall every woman needs in her wardrobe.  When you look good, you feel good.  When you feel good, you feel empowered.

Long sleeve dress

No, you don’t have to say goodbye to your favorite summer dresses as soon as autumn arrives.  You can still wear them when the temperatures drop.  Simply add a jacket or cardigan.  Needless to say, you won’t freeze thanks to those long sleeves!  Additionally, a long sleeved dress should be a staple in your in your wardrobe for the season.  These looks are sophisticated and very trendy at the same time.

If you still don’t own a trench coat, it’s high time you got one! This piece is truly timeless because of its versatility in the first place. You can wear it both in casual and formal occasions.  I recommend one with a removable liner for colder days and nights.  When you remove the liner it will be lightweight, but still provide warmth and coziness.  It’s perfect for the transitional period!

A stylish cardigan in an autumn-friendly shade will certainly keep you warm.  It will complement your outfit and take it to a new level. We simply love flats: loafers, espadrilles, slipons, Mary Janes, gladiators – you name it!  Flats are a living proof that you don’t have to be uncomfortable in order to be stylish.  And, they offer a great starting point for coming up with head-turning looks. However, it’s not always easy to decide on what kind of outfit can go with different types of flats.  Today, I’m sharing a style guide for busy moms.  Additionally, we have tips on how to create various looks: from business, casual, and urban, to feminine and edgy.  Who says you need to wear heels to look stylish.  You can look great and empowered wearing flats.

For a daily casual summer look, try espadrilles.   Furthermore, they are trending big time and look best with rolled up pants, skirts and shorts. For a simple look, try skinny jeans with a light fabric pastel colored blouse (or floral print) and espadrilles within the same color range. Finish the look with a messenger purse or drawstring bag.  Accessorize with a pair of Wayfarer glasses for a cool look.

Have you ever wondered how celebrity moms manage to look so trendy?  They ae just as busy in their personal and professional lives as you, but they always manage to keep personal appearances.

The secret lies in their simplicity. They love keeping their daytime look simple without looking untidy. Keep your look simple, from makeup to accessories to clothes. Don’t overdo any of your pieces. Opt for stylish basics, they really do go a long way in the life of a busy mom.

Most women don’t want to wear a dress to the office because she knows that she cannot wear it again for several weeks. We think that someone at work might notice the last time that it was worn.
