Honey BBQ –  The key to this recipe is honey and hickory smoked BBQ sauce.  So, serve these Honey BBQ wings and you will have guests licking their fingers.

Spicy Orange – Looking for a twist on wings.  Try these Spicy Orange wings.  Oranges, honey, soy sauce and garlic will take these wings to a new level.

Zingy Lemon Butter – Next, lemons aren’t my thing, but these wings could score big at your next party. Lemons, honey, melted butter and cracked black pepper are the key ingredients for these wings.

Baked Korean  – This recipe requires you to make the sauce for this recipe; however, Walmart sells a great Korean sauce that will work for this recipe.  The sauce will give the wings a spicy and sweet taste.

Malaysian – This recipe calls for Fresno peppers.  They’re hotter than jalapenos; however, they are not available in my area.  So, I will be substituting jalapenos if I decide to try this recipe.

Old Bay – Furthermore, Old Bay can be used to season other foods besides seafood.  Try it on fries, corn on the cob, potato salad and yes chicken.  This reason is simple and Old Bay is the star.

Jamaican Jerk –  So, some like it hot and I do I do!  Jerked wings are a favorite in my house.  This blogger has a great homemade Jerk seasoning recipe on the blog too.

Sweet and Spicy Sriracha –  The sriracha sauce is mixed with honey and butter for this recipe. Sweet, hot and crisp are a few adjectives to describe these wings.

Pineapple Glazed –  Wings with a tropical flavor. The blogger stated that it takes about 15 – 20 minutes for the sauce to reduce.  I love anything pineapple.

Bourbon Maple – Save some of your bourbon for this wing dish.  Because you will need it so you can make the glaze for these wings.

Maple Bacon – Bacon, butter, bourbon, coke, and maple syrup.  Cover the wings in this delicious sauce and you will have a finger licking good appetizer.

Lemon Pepper Wings – Butter and lemon pepper will take these wings to the next level.  Bake until crispy and serve.

Garlic Ranch – Do you love garlic?  If so, bring out the fresh garlic for this one.  Mix it with a packet of Ranch Dressing and you’re on your way to serving a hit.

Cilantro Lime – Hit these wings with a little or a lot of cilantro, but first add the sauce.  You will need butter, lime juice, zest and honey.  Because fresh herbs always make dishes taste better, I suggest that you grow your own.

Garlic Parmesan –  Last, are you a cheese lover?  I’ve never had cheese on my wings, but this recipes calls for parmesan cheese to be added to the sauce.  I’m going to try this one.

Brownie Trifle Recipe

brownie trifle reipe

First, are you a dessert person?  Normally I am not.  However, when I entertain I like to have a fabulous dessert on hand.  So, finding a great trifle recipe goes to the top of my list. I’ve come to love trifles.  They’re easy to assemble and look great in Trifle dishes. This dessert ended differently from the way I originally planned.   Normally I use chocolate pudding, but time was not on my side so I skipped it.  Needless to say, I was worried about how it would turn out.  Thankfully, it turned out better than I expected.  As a result, I’m going to by-pass the pudding in this trifle recipe from this point on.

Here’s what you need:

  • 1 Trifle Bowl
  • 2 boxes of fudge style brownie mix
  • 2 containers of Cool Whip
  • Sliced Strawberries
Next, bake the brownies according to directions on the box.  However, you will need to allow them to cool completely.  I usually bake them the night before I assemble the trifle.  After the brownies have cooled, cut them into bite size squares. Layering is key to this dish. Place a layer of brownies on the bottom of the dish. Add a tablespoon of Cool Whip to the center of the brownies. Repeat this process.  Carefully spread the Cool Whip toward the edges.
Be careful with this step.  Most importantly, if the cool whip splashes against the sides of the dish it will affect the presentation.  Add more Cool Whip and spread toward the edges. Be generous with the Cool Whip. You want guest to have plenty with the brownies and strawberries.  Add sliced strawberries around the sides of the entire dish.
Add another layer of brownies, another layer of Cool Whip and strawberries. Top the dish off with Cool Whip and fresh strawberries as shown.
Last, this dish was devoured. I even had one guest say “you can keep the food, just pass me that dessert.” Make this Brownie Trifle your go to dessert. I promise, you won’t regret making this trifle recipe.  Finally, do you have a favorite dessert that you like to serve when entertaining or take to an office party?

crockpot recipes

Looking for a delicious crockpot recipe for pork chops?  I have an easy, but delicious one for you.  And it only uses 3 ingredients.  Delicious and simple!  So, how can you not want to try this crockpot recipe.  Furthermore, it uses 3 ingredients.  And the end result is a moist, tender chop that is perfect for dinner.  Also, it’s a perfect recipe to pair with rice, potatoes, or a salad and crusty bread.  Go ahead, wipe the sweat off your brow.  Oh right, this one didn’t require you to work up a sweat.

And crockpot recipes are a great go to turn to when your time is limited.  Put the ingredients in the crock and head off to run errands or do other chores around the house.

This is a simple recipe.  Here’s the ingredients that you will need for this recipe:

  • 1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 packet of Ranch Salad Dressing mix (The picture actually shows 2)
  • 3 – 4 thick cut pork chops

First, spray your crock with PAM to keep the ingredients from sticking.  Next, layer the pork chops on the bottom of the crockpot.  Spread the Cream of Chicken soup over the chops. Be generous, you want the pork chops to be thoroughly covered.  Be sure to lift the chops and spread the soup over the bottom of the chop too.  You may have to place a part of one chop onto the next chop.  If so, that will fine.  They will all cook thoroughly.  Pour 1 packet of the Ranch Dressing over the soup.  Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4.  I prefer to cook mine for 6 hours.  The chops practically fall off the bone.

Last, the end result is a moist, juicy and delicious chop.  As a result, be sure to Pin this crockpot recipe.  Because you will want to make them again and again.  So, serve this dish with your favorite sides and vegetable.  Enjoy!

Spaghetti Salad Recipe

 easy pasta salad recipes

I  love this simple pasta dish, especially in the summer.  Turning on the oven or stove is something that I strive to do as little as possible in the summer.  Furthermore, I serve this dish at family  gatherings, baby showers, and office parties.  It is always refreshing and a big hit no matter where I serve it.  It’s a go to for any occasion:

  • 1 package of thin spaghetti noodles
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 bottle of Salad Supreme
  • 1 large bottle of Italian Dressing

    spaghetti salad recipe

Boil noodles according to pasta package.  Next, chop or cube the tomatoes and cucumbers. If you have a home garden, this is a perfect recipe to use those home grown tomatoes and cucumbers.  Next, mix the  noodles, cucumbers, and tomatoes.

Additionally, add a generous amount of  Salad Supreme.  This ingredient is just as much of a star as the other ingredients.  Finally add the Italian dressing until noodles are saturated.  Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.  The longer the salad is in the refrigerate, the more of an opportunity it has to merry the ingredients.  You can add more salad dressing if  needed prior to serving.

My family devours this dish.  It’s a nice summer dish on days when you simply don’t feel like turning on the stove, oven, or plugging in the crockpot.  It goes great with a sandwich or it’s great alone.
