Honey BBQ –  The key to this recipe is honey and hickory smoked BBQ sauce.  So, serve these Honey BBQ wings and you will have guests licking their fingers.

Spicy Orange – Looking for a twist on wings.  Try these Spicy Orange wings.  Oranges, honey, soy sauce and garlic will take these wings to a new level.

Zingy Lemon Butter – Lemons aren’t my thing, but these wings could score big at your next party. Lemons, honey, melted butter and cracked black pepper are the key ingredients for these wings.

Baked Korean  – This recipe requires you to make the sauce for this recipe; however, Walmart sells a great Korean sauce that will work for this recipe.  The sauce will give the wings a spicy and sweet taste.

Malaysian – This recipe calls for Fresno peppers.  They’re hotter than jalapenos; however, they are not available in my area.  So, I will be substituting jalapenos if I decide to try this recipe.

Old Bay – Old Bay can be used to season other foods besides seafood.  Try it on fries, corn on the cob, potato salad and yes chicken.  This reason is simple and Old Bay is the star.

Teriyaki –  Another finger licking good chicken wing recipe.  The sauce is homemade.

Pressue Cooker BBQ – Are you short on time?  Pull out your pressure cooker and serve up these BBQ wings.  The recipe requires seasoning, Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce, and the wings.  I’m a huge fan of Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce.

Jamaican Jerk –  Some like it hot.  I do I do.  Jerked wings are a favorite in my house.  This blogger has a great homemade Jerk seasoning recipe on the blog too.

Sweet and Spicy Sriracha –  The sriracha sauce is mixed with honey and butter for this recipe. Sweet, hot and crisp are a few adjectives to describe these wings.

Pineapple Glazed –  Wings with a tropical flavor. The blogger stated that it takes about 15 – 20 minutes for the sauce to reduce.  I love anything pineapple.

Bourbon Maple – Save some of your bourbon for this wing dish.  Because you will need it so you can make the glaze for these wings.

Maple Bacon – Bacon, butter, bourbon, coke, and maple syrup.  Cover the wings in this delicious sauce and you will have a finger licking good appetizer.

Lemon Pepper Wings – Butter and lemon pepper will take these wings to the next level.  Bake until crispy and serve.

Garlic Ranch – Do you love garlic?  If so, bring out the fresh garlic for this one.  Mix it with a packet of Ranch Dressing and you’re on your way to serving a hit.

Cilantro Lime – Hit these wings with a little or a lot of cilantro, but first add the sauce.  You will need butter, lime juice, zest and honey.  Because fresh herbs always make dishes taste better, I suggest that you grow your own.

Garlic Parmesan –  Are you a cheese lover?  I’ve never had cheese on my wings, but this recipes calls for parmesan cheese to be added to the sauce.  I’m going to try this one.

Baked Brown Sugar – Because everything is better with sugar, you should try this one.  Brown sugar is even better.  Be sure to make a sauce for dipping.

Firecracker – Franks Hot Sauce, red pepper flakes and garlic will set this wings on fire.  This recipe actually calls for thighs and/or breast, but wings will work perfectly with the sauce.  I suggest blue cheese dressing to cool these off, and a huge tub of beer.

Cajun Butter – Last, but not least.  This recipe has a 2-step process.  First, you fry the wings and than you lock in the flavor by baking them.  Yum Yum!  This one will be on my table, because I love all things Cajun.

We’ve come to the end of the road for our wing suggestions, but we hope you can make a few selections from our chicken wing recipes to serve at your next gathering.  These chicken wing recipes are perfect for game day, BBQs, week-end snacks and more.  Finally, you may also like Game Day NFL Referee Signals 101 or 20+ Mouth Watering Game Day Dip Recipes.

Spinach Dip Recipe

dip recipe

Looking for a simple, but delicious dip recipe?  Try this spinach dip.  It’s great with toast, chips or raw vegetables.  I’ve been making this dip for almost 10 years, and I get rave reviews.  When I have family gatherings, my daughter and niece literally fight over this dip.  One hid the dip from the other to make sure they had enough for the next day.  Problem solved, I started doubling the recipe at my family gatherings.

This dip recipe is great on week-ends when you just want to curl up with a good movie or book.  Invite the girls over and serve this with wine.  I have also served this dip recipe for parents when hosting my grandchildren’s birthday parties.  It’s great for baby showers too.

The recipe is so simple.  You can put together in 15 minutes or less.  The key is making sure the spinach is dry, mixing the ingredients well, and allowing sufficient time for it to chill.  I usually allow it to chill overnight or at least for the greater part of the day.

I serve this dip with raw vegetables like celery, carrot sticks and/or cucumbers.  It’s also great with Melba toast.  Either way it’s a crowd pleaser.  You may also like Crockpot Meats in a Hickory and Brown Sugar BBQ.

Crockpot Meatball Recipe: Hickory & Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce

crockpot meatball recipe

I have come to love crockpot recipes. Tuesdays and Thursdays are days that I prepare quick, easy meals in my home.  Placing the main course in the crockpot allows me to focus on other things besides dinner throughout the day.

crockpot meatball recipe

Meatballs are a favorite in my house, so my crockpot meatball recipe is a go to.  I’ve been making these meatballs for years and they never fail me.  These meatballs are great for making ahead and freezing too.  Divide and place the meatballs in freezer bags until you’re ready to use them.  I make a large amount to ensure there’s leftovers.  The first day they serve as the main course along with a salad, rice or potatoes.  Leftovers are delicious on crusty rolls with fruit and chips or oven fried potatoes.

They are also great for family gatherings or office potlucks.  Moist, juicy, and bursting with flavor.  Everyone devours them, including kids and kids at heart.  Personally, I can’t stop eating them either.

I like using fresh ground beef with an 85 – 15% lean ratio for this recipe.  Grape jelly (your choice), 2 eggs, Lipton Onion Soup Mix and Sweet Baby Ray’s Hickory and Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce are the ingredients for this creation.  Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce is a staple in my home, but feel free to use your favorite.

After the ingredients have been mixed and shaped into meatballs, place them in the oven for 10 minutes.  I like for the meatballs to be pre-cooked, so I can drain them and eliminate as much oil as possible before placing them in the crockpot.

I pair these meatballs with a salad and mashed potatoes most days.  Create meatball subs the next day with the left overs. However, you decide to use them they will be yummy.  Get the ingredients together and start rolling out these tasty treats.  They are delicious!

30 minutes meals

Planning meals is not always doable.  Time gets away from us, especially when school is back in session.  Kids need to be chauffeured to activities, home work needs to be checked, and baths given before bed.  Somewhere in between we need to fix a hot, healthy and delicious meal.

The solution is 30 minute meals.  I use them on days that I have my grandchildren after school.  They’re also great on days that I pick my mom up from dialysis.  I feed her dinner on those days, and she likes to eat immediately after she gets home.

First, every family has picky eaters.  My granddaughter more so than my grandson, but both are picky.  Furthermore, fixing meals that everyone will enjoy is key.  So, I look for dishes where I can fix a salad and offer bread to make it filling.  As a result, this roundup offers a variety of dishes that include chicken, sausage, pasta, and ground beef.  These items are staples in my pantry and freezer.  I know that I can always find a recipe that calls for these ingredients. Place these items in your freezer and pantry for those days that times just happens to get away from you too.

Brownie Trifle Recipe

brownie trifle reipe

Are you a dessert person?  Normally I am not, but when I entertain I like to have a fabulous dessert on hand. I’ve come to love trifles. They’re easy to assemble and look great in Trifle dishes. This dessert ended differently from the way I originally planned.  Normally I use chocolate pudding, but time was not on my side so I skipped it.  Needless to say, I was actually worried about how it would turn out, but no worries it was delicious.  I’m going to by-pass the pudding from this point on.
Here’s what you need:

  • 1 Trifle Bowl
  • 2 boxes of fudge style brownie mix
  • 2 containers of Cool Whip
  • Sliced Strawberries
Bake brownies according to directions on the box.  However, you will need to allow them to cool completely.  Next, cut brownies into bite size squares. Layering is key to this dish. Place a layer of brownies around the bottom of the dish. Add a tablespoon of Cool Whip to the center of the brownies. Repeat this process.  Carefully spread the Cool Whip toward the edges.
Be careful with this step.  If the cool whip splashes against the sides of the dish it will affect the presentation.  Add more Cool Whip and spread to the edges. Be generous with the Cool Whip. You want guest to have plenty with the brownies and strawberries.  Add sliced strawberries around the entire dish.
Add another layer of brownies, another layer of Cool Whip and strawberries. Top the dish off with Cool Whip and fresh strawberries as shown.
This dish was devoured. I even had one guest say “you can keep the food, just pass me that dessert.” Make this Brownie Trifle your go to dessert. You won’t regret it. Do you have a favorite dessert that you like to serve when entertaining or take to an office party?

crockpot recipes

Looking for a delicious crockpot recipe for pork chops?  I have an easy, but delicious one for you.  And it only uses 3 ingredients.  Delicious and simple!  So, how can you not want to try this crockpot recipe.  Furthermore, it uses 3 ingredients.  And the end result is a moist, tender chop that is perfect for dinner.  Also, it’s a perfect recipe to pair with rice, potatoes, or a salad and crusty bread.  Go ahead, wipe the sweat off your brow.  Oh right, this one didn’t require you to work up a sweat.

And crockpot recipes are a great go to turn to when your time is limited.  Put the ingredients in the crock and head off to run errands or do other chores around the house.

This is a simple recipe.  Here’s the ingredients that you will need for this recipe:

  • 1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 packet of Ranch Salad Dressing mix (The picture actually shows 2)
  • 3 – 4 thick cut pork chops

First, spray your crock with PAM to keep the ingredients from sticking.  Next, layer the pork chops on the bottom of the crockpot.  Spread the Cream of Chicken soup over the chops. Be generous, you want the pork chops to be thoroughly covered.  Be sure to lift the chops and spread the soup over the bottom of the chop too.  You may have to place a part of one chop onto the next chop.  If so, that will fine.  They will all cook thoroughly.  Pour 1 packet of the Ranch Dressing over the soup.  Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4.  I prefer to cook mine for 6 hours.  The chops practically fall off the bone.

Last, the end result is a moist, juicy and delicious chop.  As a result, be sure to Pin this crockpot recipe.  Because you will want to make them again and again.  So, serve this dish with your favorite sides and vegetable.  Enjoy!

Spaghetti Salad Recipe

 easy pasta salad recipes

I  love this simple pasta dish, especially in the summer.  Turning on the oven or stove is something that I strive to do as little as possible in the summer.  Furthermore, I serve this dish at family  gatherings, baby showers, and office parties.  It is always refreshing and a big hit no matter where I serve it.  It’s a go to for any occasion:

  • 1 package of thin spaghetti noodles
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 bottle of Salad Supreme
  • 1 large bottle of Italian Dressing

    spaghetti salad recipe

Boil noodles according to pasta package.  Next, chop or cube the tomatoes and cucumbers. If you have a home garden, this is a perfect recipe to use those home grown tomatoes and cucumbers.  Next, mix the  noodles, cucumbers, and tomatoes.

Additionally, add a generous amount of  Salad Supreme.  This ingredient is just as much of a star as the other ingredients.  Finally add the Italian dressing until noodles are saturated.  Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.  The longer the salad is in the refrigerate, the more of an opportunity it has to merry the ingredients.  You can add more salad dressing if  needed prior to serving.

My family devours this dish.  It’s a nice summer dish on days when you simply don’t feel like turning on the stove, oven, or plugging in the crockpot.  It goes great with a sandwich or it’s great alone.
