I was given the opportunity to review the Titanium Pruning Shears by Haus & Garten. In return I was given a pair of the shears to use; however, all opinions are my own.
As a gardener having a good pair of shears is a necessity. I use them in my shrubbery bed, in my vegetable garden, and trimming flowers on my deck. The Titanium Shears were put to the test by first pruning a Nadina in my shrubbery bed. It was like slicing butter. I was so excited I headed over to my Dogwood Tree and trimmed a few overhanging branches. Effortless would be the word I would use. I decided to trim my Geranium back. I was effortless as well.
My vegetable garden isn’t producing yet, so I was unable to use the shears there. I have no doubt that they will easily remove my peppers, squash, zucchini and tomatoes without issues.
The shears are made of quality material. They are heavy, but not a distraction. I have carpal tunnel, so the design and comfort of the shears is important to me. Ergonomically designed shears are a must for any garener. Definitely a pro! The blades are thick and strong, you will be able to perform most gardening tasks with these shears. They are easy to grasp and position on plants, flowers and small limbs. Little effort is needed to complete the task.
I’ve only used the shears on small tasks at this point, but I believe they will withstand many gardening seasons. Compared to other shears that I own, these are superior. My other shears are shameful in comparison. I’m looking forward to using these shears this fall when I cut back my woody shrubs hard.
I recommend these shears for the home gardener. They will also make a great gift for the gardener in your life. Click on the above link and head over and check them out.
