First Grade Christmas Activities Pack

first grade christmas activities

The holidays are around the corner, and the kids will be out of school soon.  Holiday movies, hot chocolate and movie night around the fireplace with the family will begin. Also, it’s a great time to start gathering cold weather activities for everyone. My granddaughter started first grade this year.  So, I’ve been created lots of worksheets for her and you.
This time of year, she’s excited and waiting for Santa to arrive.  However, I still want her to continue to learn and have fun with her education.  So, we created a first grade Christmas activity pack that includes math, addition and subtraction, matching, spelling and word search and more.  We’ve included a few coloring activities too.  You can download the first grade Christmas activity pack here.

So, our first grade Christmas activities pack includes a word search that includes Christmas items.  Your child can search for words like sled, Santa and cookies.  Furthermore, we have also created an addition math sheet that encourages children to strengthen their math skills.  There’s also a math sheet that encourages your child to practice their subtraction skills.  Now that the serious work is over, let them color the Christmas tree and snowman.

We can’t leave out the importance of spelling out of our first grade Christmas activities.  Your first grader will practice spelling words like elf, present and cookies.  There’s also a matching activity.  For this particular activity pack, we also included pattern recognition activities.

  1. Rhonda these are adorable! My son is also in first grade. I think I’ll print them off to keep him busy this weekend. Especially since all I hear right now is “I’m bored!” Oh my, new toys can come soon enough for this mom!
