Christmas Breakfast Ideas for Kids

kids breakfast ideas, snowman pancakes ideas, fun kids food

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Feliz Navidad.  The kids are out of school for the next week and they’re excited about Santa.  You on the other hand, must come up with meal ideas and other ways to keep them occupied.  As a result,  Mother 2 Mother has found 2 adorable breakfast ideas for your kids on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. Christmas morning is always exciting.  Therefore, I like to fix meals that are fun and festive. The snowman pancakes look quick and easy, just the way I like it.  The required ingredients are:  a few bacon strips, a strawberry and chocolate chips. Not difficult right.

Rudolph with his nose so bright will be driving the sled on Christmas Eve.  How exciting will it be to serve the kids these adorable pancakes for breakfast.  Or, why not dinner.  My grandchildren love pancakes, bacon, and strawberries anytime.

I’m really feeling the ice cream snowman below.  I love these little fellows.  It may have something to do with Frosty, which was one of my favorite Christmas movies growing up.  Now it is a favorite of my granddaughters.  I pull out the snowmen this time of year, and decorate my home and office with these little guys.  I admire them until they melt in the spring.

Serving this fun guy would be a perfect ending to an evening.  A scoop of ice cream, marshmallows, licorice sticks, a cherry and chocolate chips will do the job.  I will be using a food pen for the eyes, nose and mouth.  Be creative, and modify him to what you have in the house.  Vanilla ice cream happens to be the flavor of the month for my grandson.  We’ve moved from chocolate, to strawberry, to vanilla.  Hopefully, his taste buds will remain stuck on vanilla through the holiday season.
